Shenzhen Yanxi Technology Co., Ltd., its affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively, "we", "us", "our", or "Yanxi") are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how we process personal data and protect your information when you use our services, products and related mobile applications (collectively, the "Products").

1. Definitions

Personal Data: information that can identify an individual, either alone or in combination with other information.

Smart Devices: non-standard computing devices with HMI and wireless data transmission capabilities, including but not limited to smart sensors, smart home appliances, smart door locks, etc.

App: a mobile application developed by Yanxi to help end users remotely control smart devices and connect to the Yanxi IoT platform.

For third-party branded apps supported by Yanxi services, our customers determine which personal data are collected via our products. We process such data only as instructed by our customers and only to provide agreed services. If you are a user of our customer and do not want to be contacted by that customer through our services, please contact that customer directly.

2. Personal Data We Collect

To provide our services, we may request personal information necessary for such services. If you do not provide personal information, we may be unable to provide some products or services.

(1) Notes on Personal Information Collection

Some integrated third-party SDKs or similar applications may collect your personal information. When you use such third-party services in our services, you agree that they may directly collect and process your information. We assess the legality, legitimacy, and necessity of such collection and require appropriate protection measures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

(2) Device Identifier and Status Access

Only after obtaining your separate and explicit consent, we may request system permissions to collect your device IMEI. IMEI is sensitive personal information and is collected only for unique user identification and independent user statistics, under the principle of data minimization.

We apply security measures (including AES-256 encrypted storage) to prevent leakage, tampering, and loss. IMEI is retained only for the shortest period necessary for the stated purpose, then anonymized or permanently deleted.

We do not share or transfer your IMEI to any third party unless legally required by mandatory law. In such cases, we will fulfill statutory notice and protection obligations.

(3) Information You Voluntarily Provide

1.Account or Profile Data: when you register an account, we may collect your email address, phone number, and username. During use, we may further collect nickname, avatar, country code, language preference, and timezone.

2.Feedback Information: when you submit feedback, we may collect your email address, phone number, and feedback content to process issues promptly.

(4) Information Collected Automatically

1.Device Information: such as MAC address, IP address, wireless connection info, OS type/version, app version, push identifiers, logs, and mobile network information.

2.Usage Data: access, click, download, send/receive messages, and other usage behavior related to our websites and services.

3.Log Information: app logs and exception stacks may be uploaded.

4.Location Information: precise or approximate geolocation may be collected only for specific products/services (for example, country selection during login/registration).

5.Photo Library Permission: used to select image files.

6.Camera Permission: used for scanning to add devices and taking/uploading photos.

7.Storage Permission: used to support stable app startup and image read/write.

(5) Smart Device Information

1.Basic Device Information: such as device name, device ID, online status, activation time, firmware version, and upgrade information.

2.Device Reported Data: device-reported data generated when you use products, e.g., data from smart scales or smart cameras.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing

(1) Core Purposes and Bases

1.Providing Services: processing account/profile, device, usage, location, and smart device data to provide products/services you request. Legal basis: contract performance.

2.Service Improvement: ensuring functionality and security, developing/improving products, operation analysis, and fraud prevention. Legal basis: contract performance.

3.Non-marketing Communications: important service/terms/policy notices that you may not opt out from. Legal basis: contract performance.

4.Marketing Communications: product marketing and promotions based on your consent.

5.Compliance Requirements: legal compliance, legal processes, protecting rights/safety/property, and available remedies.

6.Push Notifications: third-party push services for real-time alerts and product status notifications.

7.Storage and Camera Permissions: permissions required for features such as profile photo updates.

(2) Scenario Settings

1.Disable System Push: configurable in the app settings path provided in the Chinese version.

2.Account Deletion: data will be deleted/cleared within 7 days after approval, except legally required retention.

For retained data required by law, we apply anonymization/de-identification and retention only for statutory periods.

After account deletion is completed, the account cannot be restored; please back up important data in advance.

(3) Third-Party SDKs (Summary)

We may integrate third-party SDKs for push notifications, one-click login, telecom number verification, analytics, crash reporting, mapping/location, scanning, social login/share, payment, cloud storage, audio/video communication, and related capabilities. Data fields may include device identifiers, network data, app/device metadata, and operational diagnostics, as described in the Chinese policy text and respective third-party privacy policies.

4. Auto-Start and Associated Launch

1.Necessity: certain app functions require auto-start or associated launch to receive push events while app is in background/closed state.

2.Scenarios: e.g., one-click login or push alert processing.

3.User Authorization: linked third-party voice authorization launches only after your explicit consent.

5. Sharing of Personal Data

We share personal data only in known and lawful ways, including with service providers, business partners, affiliates, in corporate transactions, for legal compliance, and with your consent.

6. Your Rights

You can exercise rights via in-app account center or by email to yfksmart@gmail.com. We generally respond within 30 days.

Data Storage: encrypted storage for sensitive information.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data for the minimum period necessary for policy purposes, unless a longer period is required by law. After expiry, data are deleted or effectively protected from further use.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you via app notice and/or account-bound email before the changes take effect.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This policy is formulated under and governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
